So I'm sitting here watching the 1991 Permian/San Angelo game and I got to wondering

When the district first started being called the little southwest conference who all were the district members?

Permian
Ohs
Lee
Midland high
San Angelo
... who else? Abilene, Amarillo, lubbock?

Original members in 1951 MHS came 1952
Odessa
Midland
San angelo
Abilene
Lubbock
Amarillo
Borger
Pampa

1956 Pampa, Borger, Lubbock, Amarillo, left and formed a district with new Lubbock  and Amarillo schools plus Plainview
Big Spring joined AHS,OHS,MHS and SAC...Permian came in 1959, Cooper and Lee in 1961

The original district played in the State Finals 6 straight years 1951 to 1956 winning 5, some sportswriter whose name i can't remember came up with lswc during that period.
