MOJO vs Tascosa
« on: October 13, 2019, 11:20:02 am »
Watching the Tascosa vs Midland game (63-6 Tascosa win). Good Lord, Midland is awful. I'm sure the cold and long travel was a factor but they did not look like they wanted to be there, at all.

Tascosa does look pretty good though.  :-\

I work with a lady who’s husband is a coach at midland... apparently the head coach is almost tanking the season, supposedly there’s a lot of talent on the bench and on the JV he refuses to play... adamant on the upperclassmen getting all of the playing time

A really good friend of mine who follows them closely said their run-D is nonexistent this year.   Given that score I just saw.... against a triple-option team.... I don’t doubt it one bit.

Watching practice footage from yesterday, 27 was not practicing. In addition to 43, they were working one of our slots at RB. I think he can do a real good job given the opportunity.

I like #43 he's a different type of runner looks like he has more acceleration, is #38 still available?

38 is likely out for the year.

Well heck definitely can't have anymore injuries with the offense it's going to be asking the defense to step up big time that Plunk kid will drive you nuts have to take every advantage givin to us turn overs will be a factor in this one can't afford to get behind early ,first downs will go a long way keeping them off the field and passing game has to be dead on really need to put up a bunch of points to stay in the game

6 week grades came out. No losses on varsity. A few on subvarsity teams. JV Black lost one QB to injury, and I think one to grades, so that is something they'll have to deal with.

From the other side....I hope little Plunk gets a scholarship offer from Navy or Air Force, or whatever schools run the option. That kid is a smooth operator.
